After the last burst of monsters, I thought it nice to try some some more human subject material. The pencil sketches are 10-15 minutes for the first two, 20-30 for the rakish gentleman on the right.

The digital painting of the frowning girl took around an hour.

Death to the land-dwellers!

No ambiguity - pointy armour, bone accoutrements, nasty weapons. He's all about the evil.

Time for something in a different vein - thematically and stylistically. Very fun, I may to add in more of the crew, a ship, some locations, some opposition.......
